Thorlabs offers a variety of fiber components that serve as terminal elements of fiber-coupled light paths. Our coreless termination fiber and fiber end caps can be used to reduce back reflections or prevent damage to the fiber end face in high-power applications. Lensed tip fiber focuses the light emitted from the end face at a point in front of the tip and is available as bare fiber or as a patch cable. Faraday mirrors return light at a 90° orthogonal polarization state relative to the input signal. Cosine correctors are diffusers designed to couple light into or out of SMA-terminated fiber optics. We also offer light traps that can be attached to the end of a terminated fiber and improve the return loss to better than 50 dB.
