Polaris® Line

Our Polaris® line of products is the ultimate solution for applications requiring stringent long-term alignment stability. We offer Polaris mounts for optics as small as Ø1/2" and as large as Ø6". Our PolarisKA Aluminum Kinematic Mounts feature a lightweight design and are offered as side-optic retention mounts or SM-threaded mounts. Our Polaris Stainless Steel Kinematic mounts are available for optics up to Ø6" and include a variety of features and optic mounting options, including: side-optic retention mounts, SM-threaded mounts, low distortion mounts, glue-in mounts, mounts with piezo adjusters, and mounts with vertical drive adjusters. Polaris mounts with side optic retention mechanisms use a monolithic flexure arm or flexure spring with a locking setscrew. SM‑threaded mounts with stainless steel retaining rings to secure a variety of optics are also available. Furthermore, we offer low-distortion mounts, which use a three-point design to reduce optic distortion and improve beam pointing stability, clear-edge mounts with an adhesive mounting design for applications that require permanently fixed optics with minimal surface distortion, and piezo-actuated mirror mounts for applications requiring stringent, actively monitored, long-term alignment stability. Low-distortion mounts constructed of stainless steel and aluminum are available in larger sizes of Ø4" and Ø6". For fiber collimation needs, we offer kinematic collimators that utilize the same monolithic stainless steel design as our kinematic mirror mounts. We also offer XY translation and 5-axis kinematic mounts, as well as a kinematic platform mount, which is ideal for mounting other mechanical components. Finally, fixed Polaris mounts are offered in two versions: a monolithic mirror mount for integration into OEM laser systems, and a line of compact mounts which utilize glue-in or flexure arms to secure optics. Posts, clamping forks, and a 45° mounting adapter designed for use with Polaris mirror mounts round out the Polaris offering.
