These optic pouches are designed to protect optics while in storage. The cotton blend pouches, offered in sizes to accommodate either Ø1/2" or Ø1" optics, and glassine pouches, sized to protect Ø1" optics, will not damage the bare optic surface or any coating that may be applied.* The glassine pouches are inert and can be used safely in a clean-room environment. The cotton pouches are not compatible with clean rooms.
All of these pouches are sold in packs of 10, and come with 10 blank adhesive labels for easy identification. They provide a space-saving alternative to our optic cases. All of these pouches are also available in bulk upon request. Please contact Technical Support for more information.
*Warning:
Please do not use the cotton pouches to store our AR-Coated ND Filters. Testing shows the pouches can stain the coating. Consider our Individual Optic Storage Boxes as a safe alternative.
Do not use either of these pouches to store Pellicle Beamsplitters, Gratings or Laser Diodes as they will damage these items.
The optics and pouches must be clean prior to storing to prevent damage.

These cotton blend optic pouches protect Ø1/2" or Ø1" optics from environmental damage while not in use. These non-woven pouches contain no adhesives, chemicals, or seams that may contact and damage the optic stored inside. The cotton blend material will not damage the surface of an optic or any applied coating.*
Each package of 10 pouches also comes with 10 blank adhesive labels for easy identification of the optic. The photo to the right shows the Ø1/2" pouch with a Ø1/2" optic and corresponding label.
