THz Antennas

Thorlabs offers antennas for ultrafast laser excitation wavelengths that can be used in applications that require THz emission or detection, such as THz time-domain spectroscopy (TDS). Our free-space antenna accepts an 800 nm femtosecond laser input and is designed for use as either an emitter or a receiver of THz radiation in the frequency region from 0.1 - 3 THz. Optimized for 1560 nm lasers, the fiber-coupled antenna is designed for >6 THz bandwidth.
