Reference Transmitters

Thorlabs offers high-speed reference transmitters for both digital and linear applications. Each transmitter has a built-in telecom-grade tunable (C- or L-band) or fixed-wavelength (852 or 1310 nm) laser. Our digital transmitters are also available with an integrated phase modulator for high-speed phase modulation. These devices are based on proven lithium niobate (LiNbO₃) modulator technology driven by high-fidelity RF amplifiers.
