FC/PC, FC/APC, ST/PC, and LC/PC Connectors Available
Bare Fiber Terminator for Temporary Terminations
Dust Caps Protect Fiber Tips
Thorlabs stocks an extensive selection of single mode fiber optic connectors. Our single mode fiber connectors include FC/PC, FC/APC, ST/PC, and LC/PC styles.
For times when a temporary termination is needed, Thorlabs offers a bare fiber terminator (BFTU). The bare fiber terminator is designed to hold fibers in standard connectors (sold separately). The BFTU accepts ferrules up to Ø0.158" (Ø4 mm) and fibers up to Ø0.03" (Ø0.7 mm). It is reusable and can be easily cleaned out if the fiber breaks inside the connector by using WC100 clean out wires.
Please add the width of the key used on all the FC connectors, you have this data on the FC to FC bulkheads and it would be good to be able to match up the data.

Description of the 30127D2
"FC/PC Connector, Adjustable Key for PM Fiber, 125µm Fiber, Ceramic Ferrule, 900µm Boot
Alternate Item: 301255D1"
Please provide a link, but i guess first you need to add the part becasue when i searched for it it did not come up on the internal site search. I also tried 30125D1

These FC/PC single mode connectors feature a pre-radiused (20 mm) ceramic ferrule that minimizes back reflections (-40 to -45 dB). These connectors, which have a 2.0 mm narrow key, come complete with a strain relief boot for either Ø3 mm or Ø900 µm tubing (both in the case of 301255D1). They also feature a hole size tolerance of +1 µm / -0 µm and a maximum concentricity of 1 µm. Each connector package includes a fiber connector cap and plastic boot.
The 301255D1 FC/PC style connector is designed for Polarization-Maintaining (PM) Fiber. The connector's key is continuously adjustable, allowing precise alignment with the axis of the PM fiber. Once the key is aligned, it can be locked into place by adding a drop of superglue in the slot near the back of the connector. These connectors also have a standard 2.0 mm narrow key.
These FC/APC connectors have an 8° pre-angled ceramic ferrule, which when properly polished, results in a typical return loss of 60 dB. However, significant insertion loss can result when mating to different styles. Consequently, we recommend that FC/APC connectors be mated with other FC/APC connectors. If your application requires that you switch connector types, we recommend using a hybrid patch cable. Our FC/APC connectors, which have a 2.0 mm narrow key, have a low 0.25 dB connector-to-connector typical loss. Each connector package includes a fiber connector cap and plastic boot.
This ST® style single mode connector features a ceramic ferrule with a pre-radiused tip (R20 mm) to minimize back reflections. Packaged with a strain relief boot for Ø3 mm tubing, the ST connectors feature a maximum concentricity of 1 µm and a hole size tolerance of +1 µm/-0 µm. Each connector package includes a fiber connector cap and plastic boot.
The LC®/PC connector was developed to meet the need for smaller and easier-to-use fiber optic connectors. The LC/PC connector reduces space required on panels by 50%. It has a Ø1.25 mm ceramic ferrule and a typical insertion loss of 0.10 dB. Thorlabs offers loose ceramic LC/PC ferrules as well as splice-ready LC/PC connectors. LC is a registered trademark of Lucent Technology.

Temporary Fiber Termination
Mechanically Holds the Fiber and Connector in Place without Epoxy
Reusable Design
Compatible with the Thorlabs Fiber Connectors Listed Below
For applications where a temporary fiber termination is desired, our BFTU Bare Fiber Terminator is the solution. The bare fiber terminator is designed to hold fibers in standard connectors (sold separately). The back of the connector is held in place using a 2-56 setscrew, while the fiber is secured with a spring-loaded, button-actuated clamp (see photo to the right).
The BFTU accepts ferrules up to Ø0.158" (Ø4 mm) and fibers up to Ø0.03" (Ø0.7 mm). It is reusable and can be easily cleaned out if the fiber breaks inside the connector by using WC100 clean out wires (sold separately below).
Thorlabs offers two types of dust caps for protecting the fiber connector end face. The CAPF is for use with fiber connector ferrules 2.5 mm in diameter while the CAPN is for use with SMA type connectors. Dirt on the fiber tip can result in permanent damage to the fiber connector, which can result in increased coupling losses or undesirable mode structure in the output light. To prevent damaging the connectorized fiber, clean it before each use and use a fiber connector cap to protect the endface of the connectorized fiber when it is not in use.
