Rare-Earth Doped Fiber

Rare-Earth Doped Fiber is frequently used in fiber lasers and amplifiers. Thorlabs offers both Ytterbium (Yb) and Erbium (Er)doped fiber. Er and Yb single mode (SM) fiber is available as well as polarization-maintaining (PM) Yb doped fiber. In addition, we offer doped fluoride fiber for use in the mid-infrared spectral region.
